Our Story
Founded in 1987 by veteran journalist Margaret Thompson, Yellow Press Australia emerged from a vision to create a world-class journalism education institute that combines traditional reporting values with modern media techniques.
Over the past three decades, we have trained more than 5,000 journalists who now work across Australia's major media outlets, including The Australian, Sydney Morning Herald, ABC News, and Channel 9.
